About the project
Mango Edge AI is a PhD research project focused on affordable, reliable farm decisions for small-scale mango growers in Kadiri, Andhra Pradesh (India). The system combines low-power IoT sensors (soil moisture, humidity, temperature) with machine learning models to give actionable advice farmers can trust.
Why now?
Water stress, rising input costs, and climate variability make timely decisions critical. Our offline-first approach works even with limited connectivity.
Who benefits?
Smallholder mango farmers, local extension workers, and CSR/impact partners supporting sustainable agriculture in rural communities.
